Spring is in the Air

Spring is in the Air and traveling is happening again.
 I usually use my Baro Cook and Thrive Freeze Dried Food meal packets (that I make up) when I travel.  I pack the recipe in a food saver bag to travel and use Jars for fast meals at home.
Here is a new recipe I took this month. Even my Hubby rated is ***** Good to do again.
I know your thinking Mango?? Yes they add a sweetness that is yummy.

Tangy Mango Roast Beef & Beans 
in my 28oz Baro Cook
1/2 cup of Freeze Dried Beef Dices
1/2 cups of Instant Red Beans
1/8 cup Freeze Dried Onions
1/4 cup Freeze Dried Mangoes
1/8 cup Freeze Dried Red Peppers
1/4 cup Tomato Powder
1/8 cup Brown Sugar
1 TBSP Freeze Dried Celery
1/4 tsp of Peppercorn Seasoning Blend
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Paprika

Put 2 cups of water and contents in the metal bowl of the Baro Cook, Let set for 5-10 minutes to start rehydration. Then add water to heat pack and place bowl on heat pack and snap lock the lid. 

Let it slimmer for 15- 20 minutes or until the beans are soft. Let set for about 5 minutes.Want more of a soup? Add more water. I like mine more of a stew.
Serve and top with cheddar cheese if you brought some in a small baggie to add in.
